The panoramic "Night" was taken after the this sunset, the lights of the city starting to awaken.

During daylight the Church of the Good Shepherd offers stunning views across Lake Tekapo to the distant mountains.

This panoramic shows the Waitaki Valley from above Kurow township. A path leads to this point from the road below. At the top you will see this image on a sign that shows all the mountain names in the distance.

Below we can see the A2O bike trail, used by over 60,000 visitors a year.

Looking across the plains to snow capped mountains looming above Christchurch City, we see a very cold start to the day. Smoke from the fires can't quite make it into the sky so hung around between the trees and buildings, hoping to warm as the dawn slinks into the past.

Behind Jacksons Pub in Otira a dark path winds up into the native forest.

after a half hours walk you come to a glade filled with the sound of water. A beautiful waterfall cascades down from the mountain side into a dark pool. A rock appears to block the entrance to a cave behind the pool keeping us out.... or keeping something in?
