    At  the end of Oamaru breakwater, two lights vie for the attention of lost ships.

    Slow exposure taken 14th of March 2010 with an Olympus Pen camera.

    Canterbury Fire II, a stunning sunset taken from close to the car park at the base of Mount Vernon, Banks Peninsula.

    From memory these were taken Late August 2010, 1 week before the first earthquake hit the district.

    The Church of the Good Shepherd, Tekapo, is a must do for all astrophotographers. 

    The Mackenzie Basin offers some of the clearest night skies in the world and achieved status as the world biggest and best Dark Sky Reserve in 2012.
